Probably the most easily used and accurate book I have encountered regarding pedigree study is the Manual of Straight Egyptian Horses, by Martha Murdoch. This attractively bound book includes all the straight Egyptian horses registered in Canada and the U.S., and their ancestors. With tabs for each section, it lists the registered name, the registration number, foaling date, color, sex, sire, dam and strain. You can also find photographs of some of America’s most significant mares and stallions, tributes and history of great interest to all breeders.

This exhaustive study took years of research and documentation, and was completed just in time for release at the 1997 Egyptian Event. Upon completion, the entire volume was donated to the Pyramid Society, with all proceeds going to this organization.

Annual supplements including updated and corrected information will be available from The Pyramid Society in June of each year.

The cost is $50 with $10 shipping and handling charges for U.S. orders. For international orders please contact The Pyramid Society for s/h charges.
