Another shot of one of a local girl. Young girls in Siwa are free to roam the town with friends and family until they become of age. They participate in all household duties except shopping. In Siwa men do all the shopping and can be seen carrying their baskets on their donkey carts laden with local produce. Maybe Siwa has something to learn the rest of us! |
